Thank You, Marilyn!!

May your spirit soar

Looking back through my email correspondence with Sandra and Becky, I realized It was exactly on this day nine years ago, that I was doing my usual ancestry research when another member contacted me. She had a connection to the Steele family.  The ancestry connection whose name was Marilyn also lived in Marin, just a few towns over from me.

This is Marilyn Boggeri who lives in Fairfax and originally contacted me via ancestry as she is connected to the Lindecker section of the family. As to where it fits in the tree. We shall start with our Myrtle May Greenwade and Eugene Charles Steele who had a family of four children one girl Justine and 3 sons Luther, Eugene and Charles. Son Luther Samuel Steele married a Edith Lorraine Ramsden. I mention for what follows next-Luther's sister Justine married William P Lindecker. Williams step mom Emily Munster was Marilyn's great Aunt! She is the one who had (empasis on had mind you!) that had photos of the Lindecker boys and the family and wanted to give them to me. WELLLLLLLLLLL

Today we at last met at my work place this after noon and what she gave me was a total treasure trove.!!!!!!!  By the way she is a really sweet lady who just turned 80 but I would have pegged her at 65 or 70 definitely NOT 80! Bubbly and funny, warm and just a total delight to chat with!  She gave me 11 photos of various sizes of the Lindecker family, their parents and am scanning it all now!  I thanked her profusely with love, kisses and hugs. What a very sweet lady who thanked me for finding her roots. No one else in her family wanted these photos and they have now come to me. How blessedly lucky is this!

So now I mention Lorraine because as an extra special treat she gave me a copy of a photo from her wedding album and here it is close up-keep in mind she made a black and white copy
